Please join us for the first South East wide 'Super Saturday'

10.30am Bitterne and Sholing Wards.

We will be knocking on doors in both Bitterne and Sholing Wards and speaking to local people about their concerns. Both wards are key for defending control of Southampton City Council, plus making progress if we work hard. Work here and elsewhere in Southampton Itchen will make sure that Rowenna Davis is elected in 2015 to take over from John Denham MP. Itchen is 4th on the Tory national target list. Bitterne’s candidate is Simon Letts, leader of the City Council. Sholing’s is Phil Wood, UNISON Trades Unionist.

We’ll have lunch at The Hinkler pub SO19 6DF, further down Hinkler Road on the left– which is a good community pub that serves good value food.

2.00pm Woolston Ward– meet at the corner of Kingsclere Avenue and Wallace Road SO19 9GX.

We will then go out and knock on doors in Woolston Ward in the afternoon. Kingsclere Avenue has 2 junctions with Wallace Road. This is the end nearer Weston Lane. In the By-election last year UKIP made great inroads and our usual majority was cut. Caran Chamberlain, our candidate is a Trades Union activist.
