Del Singh was a respected and much-loved campaigner, MEP candidate and International Development Specialist whose life was tragically cut short on January 17th 2014. Del was one of 21 people killed in a devastating suicide attack in Kabul. He died alongside others like him who worked to make the world a better place.
Del was committed to helping people in conflict areas and he wanted to see a more peaceful world. For 10 years he worked in countries like Afghanistan, Kosovo, Sudan and Sierra Leone to help people who needed his support. He ran charity marathons in the heat of Gaza and worked as a volunteer with the homeless in Southampton. He campaigned alongside many of you in the South East to change people’s lives for the better.
Del died aged 39 but in that short time he had achieved so much and we know he would have made a fantastic MEP or MP. So please share your memories of Del on this page and help us to remember a brave and big hearted person who so many will miss.
